Laughter lifts us up. Life becomes worth living. You experience that vanishing state of being called relaxation. You stress less and enjoy the company of other people more. You live and enjoy the present moment. Laughter is contagious and it creates laughter for other people. Allowing laughter to swell into a movement across the world would reduce the growing anger and violence.

Most important point is that the people suffering from a variety of diseases have benefited in some way or the other. But we don’t claim to have cured long-standing ailments with laughter therapy for healing a person. Laughter is more of an alternative supplementary and preventive therapy. There are numbers of clinical research going on to determine the benefits of laughter and the results will be available in future. It will take a couple of years before these organizations publish research data on laughter therapy. Based on the survey feedback and interviews people in USA, India and research done all over the world, we have found that laughter has helped many people. In general I like to describe the laughter benefits in two categories as follows:

  1. Personal/individual benefits
  2. Organization/corporate benefits

I like to emphasize that these two categories of benefits are interrelated to each other and not independent from each other. The organizations consist of people and if people are happy then the organizations can achieve all the positive results due to happy people as part of the organizations.
